If you are struggling with some of the side effects of the peri-menopause or menopause, e.g. insomnia, heightened anxiety, brain fog, indecision, irritability, low mood, lack of self-esteem… then why not join us for a gentle and supportive

6 week Mindfulness for Menopause course

We will take you through some tried and tested techniques to help boost your well-being, your mood and your emotional resilience – tools that you can take with you and use for the rest of your life.

Maximum 18 participants.

Facilitated by Caroline Raven and Fidelma Farley, two qualified (& menopausal!) mindfulness teachers, with almost twenty years of combined teaching experience.

Online – Live sessions via Zoom.

Time: Friday lunchtimes – 12-1.30pm, with optional 1.30-2pm add-on coffee/lunch peer support session

Dates: 16 April, 23 April, 30 April, 14 May, 21 May, 28 May 2021

What can Mindfulness help with?

Mindfulness can improve well-being by helping you to:

  • Focus on the here and now. Many participants report that they learn to worry less about the future or to ruminate less about the past.
  • Manage and reduce feelings of stress, anxiety and low mood.
  • Calm the ‘chattering mind’.
  • See situations more clearly and make decision-making more straight-forward.
  • Improve sleep.
  • Be less swept up in the ‘drama of life’ and become more emotionally resilient.
  • Feel more able to savour the simple pleasures in life.
  • Manage relationships more effectively.
  • Manage physical symptoms, such as pain, aching, headaches etc, often noticing that they reduce significantly.

Overall, practising Mindfulness has been shown to help people to feel generally more content in life and to develop a kinder and more caring attitude towards others and towards themselves.

No prior experience or knowledge of Mindfulness is needed.
