Four session Introduction to Mindfulness | ONLINE
For one hour on the four Fridays in June 2020, Caroline will be running a basic on-line Introduction to Mindfulness course, suitable for complete beginners as well as for anyone who wants a quick refresher course.
These are unsettling times, and Mindfulness provides us with practical (and often quick) techniques to help us move from feeling scattered, unsettled and worried, to feeling calmer, more grounded and more focused.
In the course, we will cover:
- What Mindfulness is (and isn’t)
- A brief overview of some of the many benefits of Mindfulness (supported by scientific research)
- Lots of guided Mindfulness practices
- Tips on how to practise Mindfulness at home or in the workplace.
The sessions will run from 11am – 12 noon on Friday 5th, 12th, 19th and 26th June 2020. The sessions cost £32 in total, however there is the option to pay £8 for the first session to see if it’s for you before signing up to the remaining three.
The sessions will take place via Zoom, which is free to sign up to. There will be the opportunity to ask questions throughout, however it’s also fine just to listen in. You don’t even have to switch on the video function if you feel more comfortable not doing so.
