Introduction to Mindfulness Workshop

Overview: Our workshop will provide an understanding of what Mindfulness is, the scientific evidence that supports it, the potential benefits for their health and wellbeing and techniques to learn how to practice it.

In addition, the workshops are experiential and Roz will guide the participants through some basic mindfulness practices and include some tips for practising beyond the session.

The workshops can be tailored to meet the needs of your business and can vary in length and format. This can be a useful way to gauge further interest in mindfulness and often motivates individual employees, teams or specific groups to further their understanding and practice by attending one of Present Mind’s full courses.

Session length: From one hour to one day

Price range: Starting at £250 for one hour for up to 40 people. Present Mind is an inclusive course provider; charitable organisations can contact Roz directly to discuss the availability of subsidised costs if required.

Location: Onsite at your offices, online using your preferred platform (including Teams or Zoom) or a hybrid of the two.

Packages: A discount of 20% is offered on the workshop price, if followed up with one of the full courses.

8 Week Mindfulness-Based Living Course (MBLC)

This investment in your employees’ health and wellbeing is run over a series of 8 sessions, consecutive weeks where possible.

Particpants are introduced to a range of themes; they will have the opportunity to practise these through guided sessions. This helps develop a habit of practising Mindfulness, which will benefit your employees both at work and in their home lives.

Home practice is an important part of this course; we support this by providing access to the Present Mind Mindfulness app and YouTube channel.

Our Mindfulness-Based Living Course can also be tailored for specific audiences – for example we have run courses for specific teams, women & menopause, parents, and leaders.

Session length: 1.5 hours x 8 sessions.

Course cost: £2400 for up to 12 people. Present Mind is an inclusive course provider; charitable organisations can contact Roz directly to discuss the availability of subsidised costs if required.

Location: Onsite at your offices, online using your preferred platform (including Teams or Zoom) or a hybrid of the two.

Packages: Discounts may be available for larger groups of between 12 and 20 participants.

Bespoke Mindfulness Programmes

Roz regularly creates bespoke courses to suit business needs and she is happy to discuss your specific requirements.

For example, she has run courses over:
– 6 sessions
– 4 sessions
– 2 full days

Roz also offers one to one support sessions.

The session length can also be altered to suit business needs, such as one-hour or even 45 minute sessions.

Costs for bespoke courses will be provided depending on requirements.

Strong Mind and Resilience Training (SMART)

Many of us appreciate the importance and numerous benefits of keeping our bodies fit. The same can be said for the mind, perhaps more than ever in today’s society, which can often feel so challenging.

If we can train our minds to be strong, we can build our resilience to be able to manage and “bounce back” from the inevitable challenges in life.

The SMART course will help your employees to learn about the nature of your mind: why we so often feel worried, exhausted, agitated or struggle to cope with life’s challenges.

Through regular practice of a range of Mindful awareness and attention techniques, that we will practice during each session, your employees can start to train their minds to become stronger, to feel more in control and to fundamentally shift the way they relate to their thoughts and feelings.

The SMART course also teaches how to build emotional resilience, using scientifically proven techniques, including practising becoming more emotionally intelligent and why simply being friendly or kind towards ourselves changes the structure of the brain and has such a powerful impact on our ability to be resilient.

Session length: 1 hour x 4 sessions.
